A short presentation looking at the impact mobile devices are having on learning, knowledge sharing and organisation structures
On the 5th November, I had the pleasure of presenting to the International Society for Knowledge Organisation (ISKO) at an event held at City University in London. The theme was the impact of mobile devices on learning and knowledge sharing.
My presentation focused on how being constantly connected via our mobile devices is changing behaviour, and how those changes are impacting the role of technology in the workplace. With enterprise software being rivalled by ‘hacker’ alternatives – personal apps enabling us to connect with peers and expertise beyond organisational walls.
The slides are embedded below. As always, you had to be there to hear the story 😉 Enjoy!
